The City of Kingston is gearing up for the 2026 municipal election on October 26. Candidate nominations open May 1 and close August 21, 2026. If you or someone you know has ever considered running for City Council or School Trustee, now is the time to learn more.

Two sessions are available for community members interested in running for municipal office:
