We have a meaningful volunteer opportunity and hope someone will step forward.

Through a referral from Ontario Health at Home, we have been asked to support an elderly gentleman over 90 years of age, living at a local retirement residence. He speaks Mandarin and faces significant language barriers in his daily life. A friendly visit and a conversation in his own language would make a real difference to him.

We are looking for one or more Mandarin-speaking volunteers who are willing to visit him on a regular basis. The commitment is flexible — even once or twice a month is meaningful.
